Today Nablai officially launched the LX002S smart interactive terminal. It is the "S upgrade" of the LX002: it keeps the LX002's voice interaction and adds six capabilities - local TF card playback, touch sensing, gravity sensing, vibration feedback, camera-based object recognition and the AMS device management console - for smart toys, cultural tourism merchandise, smart homes and in-car companionship.
What the LX002S Adds Over the LX002
| New capability | What it means | Problem it solves |
|---|---|---|
| Local TF card playback | Onboard TF card slot that decodes and plays audio from the card | Content still plays when the network is weak or unavailable |
| Touch sensing | Recognizes taps, long presses and multi-touch | Close-contact interaction for plush toys |
| Gravity sensing | Detects orientation, lying flat, shaking and tilting | In-car, sports and hanging installations |
| Vibration feedback | Onboard vibration motor, triggered programmatically | Game feedback and emotional expression |
| Camera-based object recognition | Onboard camera plus vision algorithms that recognize everyday objects | Object explainers, code scanning and scene recognition |
| AMS console | SaaS console for device management | Device activation, user activity and health monitoring |
Six Product Categories the LX002S Suits
- AI plush toys: touch, gravity and vibration in combination, recreating a real sense of companionship
- Children's story players: local TF card playback keeps the experience solid on a weak network, while the cloud handles content updates
- Smart cultural tourism souvenirs: fits inside compact products and can be connected to a destination's own knowledge base
- Smart home terminals: works as a voice entry point for the home and links to IoT devices
- In-car companion devices: gravity sensing suits driving scenarios, and the TF card keeps it usable in tunnels with no signal
- Visual recognition terminals: camera recognition of objects and images, from picture books and cards to everyday items
The LX002S "Does Not" List
To be straightforward about it, the LX002S has clear boundaries:
- No high-compute on-device LLM inference: complex conversations still go back to the cloud; onboard compute mainly serves wake word, command understanding and visual recognition
- No 4G/5G cellular connectivity: connectivity relies on Wi-Fi or an external module
- No lock-in to a single cloud LLM: supports a brand owner's own model or third-party LLM APIs
Supporting Resources and Delivery
The LX002S ships with a hardware reference design, a firmware SDK, a trial AMS console account and app customization consulting. Brand owners can complete full integration, from prototype to small-batch pilot production, in 4-6 weeks.
